Sculptor
Graduated from The Academy of Fine Arts in 2004
Jasmin makes colourful wooden sculptures and ceramics which looks amusing at first glance but they also reveal much about the world around us. The roots leads to the imaginary world of childhood, plays and toys. Jasmin is a sparkling expressionist who doesn’t bow down for the unwritten laws of the art of scuplting nor follow the modernist tradition. Her exhibitions are usually total installations where story-telling plays an important role. She sometimes combines ready-made objects to some of her works and she has also done different kinds of mixed media installations. She also paints portraits and makes croquis with acryl and ink.
